It is truly moving to see that Luxoft is one big family, and we are so proud of the outpouring of support for Ukraine from our employees. Luxofters are raising funds for relief efforts, distributing food and medicine to Ukrainian cities, assisting their colleagues with relocation and maintaining direct contact with them, and staffing 24/7 support hotlines. Together they have raised thousands in donations and helped distribute food, medicine and supplies to hospitals, our colleagues and their families across Ukraine.
We’re especially proud of the volunteering efforts of our team at Luxoft Poland who collected and arranged transport for food and medical supplies for hospitals, including the Ohmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv. Our deepest thanks to everyone involved for devoting their time, hard work and resources to make this happen.
We are doing everything we can to help everyone affected by this tragedy. Luxoft is providing a relief package worth millions of USD in direct support of our Ukraine-based employees.
Our dedicated team is working around the clock to provide resources, technology, financial assistance and transportation to help our Ukrainian colleagues and their families relocate in neighboring countries.
We’ve set up 24/7 support hotlines to assist with the relocation process, accommodation sourcing and general safety issues.
We are proud of the tremendous efforts of our teams in and around the region and grateful for the support being offered from around the globe. We are dedicated to doing everything possible to keep our people out of harm’s way.
In addition to the direct aid to our Ukraine-based colleagues, a further $330,000 will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society to support its relief efforts for the civilian population of Ukraine. Our aid will not stop there; we’ll continue to provide every possible support to our people in their hour of need.
As you can imagine, the situation is highly dynamic, and we are monitoring it on a daily basis. We are committed to maintaining continuous operations, and business continuity plans are in place to prevent any disruptions to client services. If you have questions regarding this matter, please contact the respective account teams.
This decision fills us with great sadness. Luxoft’s beginnings as a company were based on the talent of Russian software engineers which rank among the best in the world. But we are an international organization, and our Ukrainian family are an integral part of our success and identity as a company. We are therefore left with no choice but to cease operations in Russia.
We are supporting people to consider different career opportunities in our global business and offering alternatives to employees who cannot or do not want to be relocated.
We treat all our employees fairly and are committed to our people-centric culture. We will continue to do our best for our people to be engaged locally or globally.
We strongly encourage those who wish to help to contribute to our fundraising campaign for Ukraine’s Red Cross whose humanitarian efforts include providing direct financial support to our impacted colleagues. Read about how the Red Cross is helping Ukraine here and make a donation below.
